"The three of us went to many art fairs and exhibitions last year including Newbury, Brighton and Goodwood racecourses.  At Goodwood I had a fit of the giggles at a 4ft painting of a huge white horse with small shops and things in the background. I just pictured the person commisioning it saying " No No, When I said paint the white horse, I meant the pub!! The other one was a same size brown horse alone - no fun at all.  I must say, I certainly didn't see anything in your class - plenty of pretty trees, colourful trees, textured trees, all sorts of trees but no imaginative trees! I geniunely thought 'none of this is a patch on Caroline's art', even with the prices at Goodwood.
